His sire, Toftegaardens Codex (17H Tall), has been a prolific Canadian Stallion, producing exceptional foal crops. To date, he is the only fewspot Knabstrupper stallion to show and place in FEI/PSG levels in North America. While, Toftegaardens Codex descends from many great Knabstruppers, Archie's dam, CCS Galadriel was sired by the Dressage legend Don Principe (Donnerhall x Prince Thatch XX). World renowned Hanoverian Stallion, Don Principe was the leading sire of Dressage horses as ranked by the US Equestrian Federation. Don Principe is known for his show wins due to a combination of factors including his exceptional athletic ability, trainability, superb movement, a strong work ethic, and a particularly high level of dressage talent, making him a standout performer in the show ring, especially in higher level dressage competitions. He competed in Grand Prix events with five riders over seven years.

Don Principe's sire, Donnerhall appears in the pedigree of almost every top-level dressage horse competing today. Donnerhall won numerous international grands prix, including team golds at the 1994 & 1998 World Equestrian Games and the 1997 European Championships, and two individual bronze medals (1994 & 1997). Donnerhall ranked inside the top 10 of the WBFSH Sire Rankings for seven consecutive seasons (2008-2014). Donnerhall's offspring include Damon Hill, Donnerschlag, Donnersong, Don Schufro, Don Principe and Donnperignon and the legendary De Niro.

It's easy to see how this power packed lineage has gifted Archetypic with some amazing traits. His large stature is imposing in the riding ring, with impeccable confirmation and uphill gaits, combining the presence and athletic ability of the great dressage horses who built his family tree. We are excited to see him continue to develop in the coming years.

COLOR GENETICS:  Negative for WFFS and PSSM.

A/A (Bay), LP/LP, PATN1/N, W20/N
W20 is a white booster that increases the amount of white on a horse when combined with other white spotting genes. Archie will always produce a colored foal regardless of the color mare he is bred to. He may be more likely to produce spotted blankets (due to the one PATN1....waiting for our foal crop to confirm). You will always get white patterning when bred to this amazing few spot stallion.

Five Filly Farm plans to offer Archetypic TE at stud in the 2025 season and also pair him with some amazing approved outcross mares to bring these unique qualities to the Knabstrupper breed in the US and add a little color to the show ring.
