Hercules' sire, Quintano vom Rosenhof, is an excellent example of traditional purebred Knabstruper with four historic bloodines: Mi, Ma, SK, ZS. Conetti was uniquely large for a Knabstrupper at 17.1 hands. Conetti was by the Oldenburg stallion, Aleksander. Aleksander was awarded a gold medal and elite status for producing several Olympic dressage horses.
Hercules has inherited all of the best qualities of his historic pedigree. He is dashing in the riding ring, with impeccable confirmation and uphill gaits, combining the presence and athletic ability of the Knabstruppers who built his family tree. He is an expressive leg mover with the most adorable face.
