Sia AF Solfach (Porsha) is an imported filly, true to the classic lines of the Knabstrupper breed. She is a smaller mare in statue, likely to finish around 15-16 Hands. She is extremely athletic and an example of the sport type. Her compact and short back make it easy for stability and collection. She is very agreeable and has much willingness to learn. Porsha has very correct conformation and rhythmical gaits. As a few spot Knabstrupper, she really brings a lot of quality aspects to the breed. Her quiet disposition and versatile build makes her a great producer of foals for every discipline. She has much potential as not only a broodmare, but also a show horse. Graded and approved in 2024 with the KNN registry. Porsha scored 8s across the board for Type, Frame, Limbs, Movement ad overall impression! The judges were so impressed with her that they also exceptionally approved her for breeding for 2025-2026 season.  

 

Porsha will begin training under saddle before moving into Dressage and Working Equitation. Without a doubt, Porsha is a top quality show horse just like the Knabstruppers who came before her. After all, she comes from the great Knabstrupper line of Sartors Casino X Equador Skrodstrup.

 

Porsha's sire, Sartors Casino has displayed great talent in Dressage and continuing to improve the Knabstrupper breed. His grandsire, Sartors Show Time, was a complete eye catcher who charmed the judges of his time. He was a very successful Dressage stallion as well. The judges described him as a “persuasive type, with charm, and movement quality”. Always placing champion and reserve in his career as a Dressage horse in young classes. Grandsire, Sartors Supermodel, a Knabstrupper stallion, is recognized for producing high-quality offspring with exceptional movement and temperament, often winning awards for his progeny in both dressage and jumping disciplines, highlighting his ability to sire horses with superior performance potential and trainable natures. Great Grandsire, Sartors Showtime, is leopard spotted Knabstrupper stallion competed by one of the worlds leading dressage riders Victoria Max Theurer. Sartors Showtime has an excellent pedigree, he is the son of the great Sir Donnerhall I who is the sire of so many outstanding dressage horses from all around the world. Sartos Showtime is himself a proven sire with offspring that includes Sartors Supermodel competing successfully in the world of Australian dressage.

Porsha's damsire, Ecuador Skrodstrup is from one of the foundation lines in the Knabstrupper breed (Skrodstrup). His sire,  Perikles Christinelyst, was an appropriately large stallion of good type. Good depth and width. Handsome head. Well-built, well-set neck. Medium-length shoulder. Marked but short withers. Good topline. Well-shaped muscular croup. Dry, well-positioned foundation. His sire, Apollon was a 16.2H Leopard Knabstrupper with an outstanding record as a sire and in competition. He was the only Knabstrupper of his time in the world approved for Warmblood breeding with an exceptional license through the ZfDP. He exceled and won Dressage, Showjumping and Eventing to level M in Europe. Sired twelve graded stallions and several state premium daughters. Was also awarded the Gold medal as best Knabstrupper stallion at the 1990 Danish Fair, a rare and distinguished achievement.

 

Porsha has inherited all of the best qualities of her rockstar pedigree. She is just stunning in the riding ring, with impeccable confirmation and uphill gaits, combining the presence and athletic ability of all these top performers.    

 

Five Filly Farm plans to pair Porsha with an exceptional German Riding Pony stallion in 2025 to bring these amazing qualities to the Knabstrupper breed and add a little color to the show ring.
